About Oliver Marmol
Oliver Marmol was hired as the manager of the St. Louis Cardinals following the 2021 season. Marmol previously spent five seasons on the Cardinals coaching staff and his promotion made him the youngest manager in baseball. He began his coaching career in the minor leagues in 2011 becoming a manager of the Johnson City Cardinals the following season. Marmol led the State College Spikes to a New York-Penn League title in 2014. Prior to getting into coaching, he played baseball at the College of Charleston and in the St. Louis minor league system for five years.
