Nikola Vucevic

Nikola Vucevic is one of the most consistent performers in the NBA with the Chicago Bulls. Vucevic attended the University of Southern California where he played on the Trojans’ basketball team for three years. Vucevic played in his first collegiate game on December 15, 2008 against Pepperdine. He earned his first start of the season on January 24, 2009 against Washington State. As a sophomore, Vucevic was the second top scorer, and the best rebounder on the Trojans. Vucevic was named the 2009-10 Pac-10 Most Improved Player. During his junior year, he was picked to the Fourth Team All-American and was named to the All-Pac 10 first team. The Philadelphia 76ers selected Vucevic as the 16th overall draft pick in the 2011 NBA Draft. Vucevic played for Buducnost Podgorica in Montenegro during the 2011 NBA Lockout. On August 10, 2012, Vucevic was traded to the Orlando Magic. He signed a four-year, $53 million contract extension with the Magic on October 23, 2014. Vuc blossomed in Orlando, making the All-Star team twice before being traded to the Bulls in 2021.
