About Nancy Lieberman
Nancy Lieberman is a former professional basketball player and coach in the WNBA. Her career began at a young age when she was named to the USA Basketball roster when she was just 17 years old. She continued to play with the team and had great success including leading the team to a silver medal in the 1976 Olympics in the first ever Women's Basketball Olympic Basketball Team Competition, which made her the youngest basketball player in Olympic history to win a medal. In college she played for Old Dominion University where she led the team to winning two consecutive AIAW National Championships. Her professional career included several different leagues, but her production and leadership on all of her teams led her to being inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame as a player in 1996. Since she has retired from playing the game she has gone into coaching in the WNBA and the NBA G-league as well as begun to expand her career into broadcasting.
