About Muggsy Bogues
Muggsy Bogues is a former professional basketball player in the National Basketball Association. Muggsy began his career early while still in high school where he led his team to a 29-0 record in 1982 and a 31-0 record the following season. Next came college where he played for Wake Forest. While in school he averaged more than 11 points per game in his junior season and nearly 15 points per game in his final season. Bogues was then selected as the 12th overall pick in the 1987 Draft and went on to play until 2001 and scored a total of 6,858 career points. While he is best known for his success while playing for the Charlotte Hornets, he has played for several other teams before he got into coaching. His coaching career began as the head coach of the WNBA Charlotte Sting, and he has since moved on to coach at a college preparatory school since 2011.
