About Morolake Akinosun
Morolake Akinosun became an Olympic champion in 2016 with the American 4x100 meter relay team. Akinosun also has a gold medal in that event from the 2015 Pan American Games. She competed in college track at the University of Illinois and the University of Texas. Along with Jackie Joyner-Kersee, Akinosun is one of only two women to score in four events at an NCAA Outdoor meet in back-to-back years. She won 13 Big 12 titles and was a ten-time first-team All-American. With the Longhorns, Akinosun won four NCAA 4x400m relay championships.
