About Molly Seidel
Molly Seidel accomplished an incredible feat, when during her first competitive marathon, she placed second at the U.S. Olympic Trials and earned a spot on the 2021 Olympic team. Seidel has quite a bit of distance running experience in her background, however. She was a six-time NCAA champion at Notre Dame and won the 2016 Honda Sports Award as the top college cross country runner. Seidel also won several NCAA championships during her time with the Fighting Irish. Molly is not only revered for her athletic accomplishments though. She is a hero to many for overcoming problems with an eating disorder to get back on track and continue chasing her dream of reaching the Olympics.
