Mike Tolbert

Mike Tolbert is a professional fullback and running back in the NFL. Tolbert attended Coastal Carolina University where he had a 4-year career and was named a second-team FCS All-American. The San Diego Chargers signed Tolbert as an undrafted free agent in 2008. As a rookie, he played in 13 games and started 7 games as a fullback. In 2010, Tolbert became the co-starter with Ryan Matthews. Tolbert signed a four-year, $10 million contract with the Carolina Panthers on March 19, 2012. In 2013, Tolbert made his first Pro Bowl appearance and he was also named to the First-team All-Pro. Tolbert recorded his first career postseason touchdown from Cam Newton on January 3, 2015. So far in his career, Tolbert has a total of 1,954 rushing years, 32 rushing touchdowns, 163 receptions, and 8 receiving touchdowns. Tolbert has two nicknames, one is Yogi, given to him by his sister and the other is “The Freight Train.”
