About Mike Sherman
Mike Sherman is currently a football coach and former player. Sherman attended Central Connecticut State University where he earned a scholarship to play on the football team. After graduating from college, Sherman became and English teacher as well as an assistant football coach at Stamford High School and Worcester Academy. Sherman’s collegiate coaching career began in 1981 where he served as a graduate assistant for the University of Pittsburgh. In his college coaching career, Sherman coached at Tulane, Holy Cross, Texas A&M, and UCLA. Sherman’s professional football coaching career began in 2000 when he was hired as the head coach of the Green Bay Packers. In 2001, Sherman served as the General Manager and Head Coach of the Packers. He has also coached for the Seattle Seahawks, Houston Texans and the Miami Dolphins.
