Mickey Loomis

Mickey Loomis is the general manager and executive vice president of the New Orleans Saints. Loomis is a graduate of Willamette High School and went on to earn his undergraduate degree in accounting from the University of Oregon after playing basketball at Northwest Christian University. After earning his master’s degree in sports administration from Wichita State University he spent 15 years in the Seattle Seahawks organization before joining the Saints in 2000. During his first two years with the Saints he earned the respect of the organization’s front office and rose to the position of general manager in 2002. During his ten years as GM and executive vice president he has helped the Saints to a Super Bowl title and unprecedented success. In 2012 he was named head of basketball operations for the Hornets, where he oversees all operations by the general manager and front office management for the hornets organization.
