Michael Putnam Biography

Michael Putnam has played on the PGA and Web.com Tours.  Putnam has three victories on the Web.com Tour.  His wins have come at the 2010 Utah Championship, the 2013 Mexico Championship, and the 2013 Mid-Atlantic Championship.  In 2013, he was first on the Web.com money list and was voted Player of the Year on tour.  With his PGA Tour card in place, Putnam had a season best tie for fourth at the RBC Canadian Open in 2014.  He also made 23 of 30 cuts in his best season as a pro.  The Pepperdine University graduate turned pro in 2005 after finishing second at the NCAA Championships.  As an amateur, Putnam competed for Team USA at the 2005 Palmer Cup and Walker Cup.  He is originally from Tacoma, Washington and currently lives in Lakewood.  His brother Andrew is now on the PGA Tour as well and another brother Joel serves as his caddy.
