Michael Iaconelli

Michael Iaconelli is one of the most well known bass fishermen in the world. Iaconelli was the 2003 Bassmaster Classic champion after a three-day total 37 pounds, four ounces. For his victory, he won 200,000. In 2006, Iaconelli was the Toyota Tundra Angler of the Year. He ran in his first Bassmaster Classic in 1999 and has eight overall B.A.S.S. Tournament victories. Originally, Iaconelli got started fishing competitively on the North Carolina pro-am circuit. He started fishing at a very early age during family trips to the Pocono Mountains and caught his first largemouth bass there at age 12. Iaconelli is originally from South Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He hosts fishing seminars with other anglers across the country. The Iaconelli family established the Ike Foundation in 2014 with the goal of spreading the enjoyment of fishing to young people who might not normally participate in the sport. He also supports My Buddy’s Little Boat, which raises awareness for autism.
