About Kevin VanDam
Kevin VanDam, known as “KVD” on the professional bass fisherman tour, is considered the best bass fisherman in the world. Since turning his hobby into a professional career in 1990 he has accumulated the four Bassmaster Classic titles, seven Toyota Tundra Angler of the Year titles, and was named FLW Angler of the Year in 2001. In 1992, at age 25, he became the youngest angler in history to win the BASS Angler of the Year title, and went on to win the most Bass tournament series titles in history with 20. As of 2014 he has 239 top 50 finishes on tour, and has accumulated over $5.56 million in earnings, which is the most ever. In 2002 he was honored with the Outdoorsman of the Year ESPY Awards by ESPN. We all love to fish, but to VanDam it is an art form that he dominates effortlessly. With 102 top 10 finishes, 12 runner-ups and 20 career tournaments won, he knows his way around the water.
