About Michael Desormeaux
Michael Desormeaux has his dream job as the head football coach at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. Desormeaux is an in-state native and Ragin Cajuns football alum. At the time of taking the head coaching position, he ranked top ten in program history in passing yards, passing touchdowns and rushing yards. Desormeaux was a three-time All-Sun Belt pick as a player. He began his coaching career on the high school level in Louisiana and then joined the ULL staff in 2016. As an assistant, Desormeaux was part of the historic success for the program making him a natural choice to succeed Billy Napier.
