About Michael Andrew
Michael Andrew is a top American swimmer, qualifying for the 2021 Olympic team in the 100-meter breaststroke. Andrew broke the U.S. record twice at the Olympic Trials. He originally experienced his breakout on the international swimming stage by winning four gold medals at the 2018 World Championships. Andrew also won one gold at the 2016 Worlds in the 100 m medley. One of the things that makes him most unique is his training style. Andrew has used his father as his primary coach all the way to the Olympic stage and uses a non-traditional method called Ultra Short Race Pace Training. Andrew also decided to forgo college swimming, turning pro and collecting his first endorsement deal at the age of 14.
