Matt Nagy

Matt Nagy is the quarterbacks coach for the New York Giants. Nagy most notably spent four seasons as head coach of the Chicago Bears. He was hired to coach the Bears for the 2018 season and was named AP NFL Coach of the Year after leading them to a 12-4 record and NFC North Division title. Nagy also guided Chicago to the playoffs in 2020.

Nagy was hired by the Bears after spending two seasons as the offensive coordinator of the Chiefs. Nagy is credited with helping to turn around Alex Smith's career after also serving as the Chiefs quarterbacks coach from 2013-15. He began his coaching career with Andy Reid and the Philadelphia Eagles before following the coach to Kansas City. Nagy began his tenure in Philly as a coaching intern in 2008. He was promoted to coaches assistant and offensive quality control coach. Nagy was an undrafted quarterback out of the University of Delaware, but went on to spend six seasons in the Arena Football League. He completed over 65 percent of his passes in the AFL and threw for 18,866 yards and 374 touchdowns. Nagy also had a standout college career at Delaware and set over 20 career passing records at the school. He also was named an All-American as a senior after setting team records with 379 passing attempts, 3,436 yards and 29 touchdowns.
