About Matt Millen
Matt Millen is a former professional football linebacker and former CEO and general manager of the Detroit Lions. Millen attended Whitehall High School in Pennsylvania where he was a standout football player. Millen was recruited by Penn State University where he was an All-American defensive tackle. After his career at Penn State, the Oakland Raiders selected Millen in the 2nd round as the 43rd overall pick in the 1980 NFL Draft. Millen had also played for the San Francisco 49ers and the Washington Redskins. In his time with the NFL, Millen was a Pro Bowl selection, 2x All-Pro selection, and 4x Super Bowl Champion. After his football career, Millen worked as a color commentator. In 2001, he left broadcasting to become the CEO and general manager of the Detroit Lions.
