Matt Bryant

Matt Bryant is the placekicker for the Atlanta Falcons of the NFL. In his high school years, Bryant played both football and baseball and he holds the record for the longest field goal at Bridge City High School. Bryant then attended Trinity Valley Community College before signing with Oregon State University. Ultimately, Bryant transferred to Baylor University where he played on the Bears’ football team from 1997-98. After graduating from Baylor, Bryant went undrafted, and then he worked at a pawnshop and served as a personal trainer. In 2000, Bryant signed with the Iowa Barnstormers of the AFL. In 2002, Bryant signed with the Berlin Thunder and then the Frankfurt Galaxy. Later that year, Bryant signed with the New York Giants as a free agent. He also played with the Dallas Cowboys, Indianapolis Colts, Miami Dolphins, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Florida Tuskers, and the Atlanta Falcons. Bryant was named a 2010 Pro Bowl Alternate.
