About Matt Bonner
Matt Bonner is retired two-time NBA champion for the San Antonio Spurs. Bonner attended the University of Florida on an athletic scholarship where he played on the Gator’s basketball team from 1999-2003. In his senior season, Bonner was named a first-team All-Southeastern Conference selection and he was an Associated Press honorable mention All-American. In 2002 and 2003, Bonner was the Academic All-American of the Year for basketball. For the 2003-04 season, Bonner played for the Pallacanestro Messina in Italy. In 2004, Bonner signed with the Toronto Raptors where he remained for a total of three years. Bonner was traded to the San Antonio Spurs on June 21, 2006.
