Litterial Green

Litterial Green starred on the basketball court at Moss Point High School in Mississippi, leading the nation with 39.7 points per game in route to earning McDonald’s and Parade All-American honors. After high school he signed on to play at the University of Georgia and became the Bulldogs all-time leading scorer with 2,111 career points. He also became the schools all-time leader in assists in route to becoming one of only three players in SEC history to record over 2,000 points and 400 assists. Green earned All-SEC honors in three consecutive seasons from 1990 to 1992 and was selected in the second round with the 39th overall pick by the Chicago Bulls in the 1992 NBA Draft. He went on to play for the Orlando Magic, Detroit Pistons, Milwaukee Bucks, and Cleveland Cavaliers in the NBA, for the Quad City Thunder in the CBA and overseas in Venezuela, Puerto Rico, Turkey, Poland and Slovenia from 1992 to 2002. After his career he signed on as the coach of the Southern Crescent Lightning in the World Basketball Association and also worked as a college basketball analyst at ESPN.
