About Leonard Marshall
Leonard Marshall played ten of his oustanding 12 seasons in the NFL with the New York Giants. With the Giants, Marshall was a starter on two Super Bowl teams. He also was a Pro Bowl pick and second-team All-Pro in 1985 and 1986. Over his career, Marshall accumulated an impressive 83.5 sacks. He has three double-digit sack seasons and also had 12 career playoff sacks. With 79.5 sacks in his New York career, Marshall ranks fifth in franchise history. The Giants originally selected him in the second round of the 1983 NFL Draft. Since his retirement after the 1994 season, Marshall has had a diversified post-playing career. He has been a broadcaster for WFAN and The Howard Stern Show. Marshall has has successful busines forays into the sports apparel, mortgage, and financial fields. He is currently a professor of Sports Management at Seton Hall University. In 2010, Marshall released the book, "When the Cheering Stops", which chronicles the Giants 1990 Super Bowl winning season.
