He has had the number one pick in the NFL Draft as a client a record eight times. In total, his players have signed contracts for over $3 billion. Many have credited him as the real-life inspiration for the film Jerry Maguire, a movie Steinberg appeared in and consulted on. He is the author of "Winning with Integrity: Getting What You Want Without Selling Your Soul" and "The Agent: My 40-Year Career Making Deals and Changing the Game." Outside of business, Steinberg has been extremely involved in philanthropy and community activism.
