Kristen Santos-Griswold is an American short-track speed skater and two-time Olympian (2022, 2026). Switching from figure skating at age 9 after seeing a TV ad, she trains in Salt Lake City and holds a kinesiology degree from the University of Utah. After a heartbreaking 4th place in the 1000m at Beijing 2022 due to a crash, she nearly retired but persevered, winning the 2024 World 1000m gold, medals in all distances at 2024 Worlds, and the 2024-25 Crystal Globe as overall World Tour champion. She enters Milano Cortina 2026 as a top medal contender despite injuries sustained in 2025.
