About Kenny Williams
Kenny Williams is the executive vice president and general manager of the Chicago White Sox. He is one of the longest-tenured executives in baseball. After a six-year playing career, Williams joined the White Sox as a scout in 1992. He rose up the organizational ranks, becoming director of minor league operations and vice-president of player development before being named general manager in 2000. The moves Williams made were instrumental in Chicago winning their first World Series since 1917 in 2005.
