About Kelly Cheng
Kelly Cheng stands as an accomplished American beach volleyball athlete who achieved success through both college and professional competitions. Born in Fullerton, California, she excelled at the University of Southern California, earning three All-American honors and leading the Trojans to back-to-back NCAA Championships in 2016 and 2017 alongside partner Sara Hughes.
After graduating in 2017, Cheng turned professional and made an immediate impact by winning the AVP Chicago Championships with Hughes, becoming the youngest team to win an AVP event. She has since competed on the AVP and FIVB World Tour circuits, capturing the 2023 FIVB Beach Volleyball World Championship title with Hughes and securing multiple tournament wins.
Cheng represented Team USA at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, reaching the Round of 16, and competed in the 2024 Paris Olympics with Hughes. Off the court, she is passionate about video games, anime, cosplay, and married Jordan Cheng in 2022.
