About Kasey Keller
Kasey Keller has a standout career as the goalie for Team USA, participating in four World Cups. Many consider a 1998 1-0 U.S. showing against Brazil in which Keller made ten saves to be one of the all-time great goaltending performances. The Olympia, Washington native would also find himself playing all over the world for teams in Germany’s Bundesliga, the English Premier League, and La Liga in Spain. He was a three-time U.S. Soccer Athlete of the Year. In 2009, Keller would come home and play in MLS for the Seattle Sounders. He was their starting goaltender for the first MLS match in team history. Keller pitched shutouts throughout the Sounders first four games that season, setting a league record. He would go on to win three U.S. Open Cups in Seattle and be named MLS Goalkeeper of the Year in his final season of 2011. Keller now serves as a radio analyst for Sounders games.
