Craig Foster Biography

Craig Foster is an icon in Australia for his work on and off the pitch. Foster played professional soccer from 1988-2003. From 1996-00, he was a member of the Australian national team and served as the 40th captain for the Socceroos. Foster became perhaps even more famous after his playing career as a popular analyst for SBS from 2002-20. He currently works as a presenter for Stan Sport, covering major UEFA matches, the Champions League, the Europa League, and the Conference League. Foster is well known for speaking openly about human rights in Australia and particularly for his advocacy for refugees. In 2021, he was recognized by being named a Member of the Order of Australia.
