Kali Reis Biography

Kali Reis has two wildly successful careers as one of the most accomplished female boxers ever and as a burgeoning star in Hollywood. Reis has won world championships in two weight divisions, the WBA, WBO and IBO light-welterweight titles and the WBC middleweight title. After making waves in the boxing world, she went into acting, gaining critical acclaim for her debut with the film, "Catch the Fair One." She won the 2021 Jury Award for Best Actress at the Newport Beach Film Festival and was nominated for Best Female Lead at the Independent Spirit Awards. Reis was subsequently tapped to co-star alongside Jodie Foster in the next installment of the popular HBO miniseries "True Detective." She is originally from Providence, Rhode Island and is half-Native American. That has prompted Reis to use her celebrity to provide awareness for several causes, including the Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls movement.
