About Justė Jocytė
Justė Jocytė is a Lithuanian-American basketball player in the WNBA for the Golden State Valkyries. Even though she was born in Washington, D.C., she spent most of her life in Lithuania. She is most known for her versatility and elite athleticism, providing a combo guard/wing hybrid style of play. She signed with LDLC ASVEL Féminin at 14, becoming the youngest EuroLeague player ever. By 2019, she led Lithuania’s U16 team to a European Championship silver medal at 13, showcasing her talent. In the 2024-25 season overseas, Jocytė averaged 12.3 points and 4.5 assists with ASVEL, earning EuroLeague All-Rookie honors.
She was drafted fifth overall in the 2025 WNBA Draft. Her prowess as a young prodigy and professional career make her a great global ambassador for the women’s game.
