Julio Rodriguez Biography

Julio Rodriguez is a star outfielder for the Seattle Mariners. Rodriguez debuted for the Mariners in 2022 and immediately made an impact. He hit 16 home runs during the first half of the season and was selected as an All-Star. Rodriguez also was added to the Home Run Derby field and made it all the way to the finals of the competition. The Mariners originally signed him as an international free agent in 2017. He was considered one of the top 25 prospects in baseball by 2019 and helped the Dominican Republic win a bronze medal at the Tokyo Olympics before getting his call to the big leagues.
