About Julianne Sitch
Julianne Sitch is the current women's soccer coach at the University of Denver, but she made history for her work leading a men's team to the top. Sitch was the men's soccer coach at the University of Chicago and, in her first season, Sitch became the first woman to lead a men's team to an NCAA championship in 2022. She had previously been an assistant with the women's team from 2015-17. Sitch also has a variety of professional playing and coaching experience. She was an assistant coach and head coach of the reserve team with the NWSL's Chicago Red Stars from 2020-22. She had a lengthy playing career, most notably spending time with several professional teams in the Chicago area. Sitch also played collegiately in the area at DePaul, where she became the program's career leader in goals, assists and points.
