Josh Kerr

Josh Kerr is a Tweed Heads, Australia native, which is famous for turning out some of the top surfing talent in the world. He got his start in the sport as a body boarder at the age of seven, and then began stand up boarding two years later at the age of nine. Eventually he became interested in turning his passion into a career and began competing in air shows in Australia. At age 16 he became a standout above the lip and began competing in international air events. In 2001 he won the first of two-air show World Championships, and then set his sights on making the Association of Surfing Professionals (ASP) World Championship Tour. In 2006 he reached his goal, finishing 7th on the World Qualifying Tour and earning a spot on the ASP WCT. Since that time he has produced one of the most signature surf films in history, “The Kerr-azy Chronicles,” and solidified his reputation as one of the top surfers in the world.
