About Coco Ho
Coco Malia Camille Hapaikekoa Ho, more commonly known as Coco Ho, is a professional Hawaiian surfer. Coco Ho was born in Honolulu, Hawaii in 1991 to professional surfer Michael Ho and is the niece to the 1993 World Champion surfer, Derek Ho. Introduced to a life in the water from birth, Coco Ho began surfing at a mere age 7. She earned her first sponsorship by the age of 8 and had already qualified for the ASP Women’s World Championship by age 17. Often referred to as the “Flying Hawaiian”, Ho has been sponsored by Volcom, Swatch, Beats by Dr. Dre, Nike, and Mayhem throughout her surfing career so far. To date, her most prestigious accomplishment has been earning the title of the 2009 WCT Ripcurl Search Portugal Champion. Coco Ho is currently ranked as the number twelve top female surfer in the world and continues to practice her passion each and every day.
