About Jose Altuve
Jose Altuve is one of the most exciting players in baseball. The two-time All-Star has been a star since coming up at second base for the Houston Astros. In 2014, Altuve won the batting title, hitting .341, and also led the American League with 56 stolen bases. Prior to that, no Astros player had ever led the league in hitting. Altuve is one of the shortest players in recent baseball history at 5’5”, which has prompted an internet phenomenon known as HowManyAltuves.com. He was signed out of Venezuela in 2007 and debuted in Houston in 2011. That same year, Altuve was on the All-Star Futures Game roster and a Baseball America Minor League All-Star.
