About Jordan Poyer
Jordan Poyer is a stalwart on defense for the Buffalo Bills, becoming a fan favorite during two different stints with the team. He resigned in Buffalo prior to the start of last season after his original run with the franchise from 2017-23.
During that first stint, Poyer became a first-team All-Pro and Pro Bowl selection. He also helped the Bills to six postseason appearances.
Poyer was originally selected by thePhiladelphia Eagles in the seventh round of the 2013 NFL Draft. He subsequently signed with the Cleveland Browns during his rookie season and spent four seasons with the franchise.
In college at Oregon State, Poyer was a star cornerback and kick returner, earning consensus First-Team All-American and First-Team All-Pac- 12 honors in 2012. He was a three-sport star at Astoria High School in Oregon, leading his high school baseball team to a state championship as a freshman, earning league player of the year honors on the basketball court, and scoring 123 touchdowns on the football field while playing both quarterback and safety.
