About Brett Keisel
Brett Keisel is an NFL defensive end who currently plays for the Pittsburgh Steelers. Keisel played collegiately at Brigham Young University where he recorded nine sacks and 66 tackles in four seasons. In the 2002 NFL Draft, Keisel was selected by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the seventh round. During his rookie season, Keisel only made five appearances, recording five tackles. The next season Keisel would develop into a defensive force, playing all 16 games and recording three sacks. In 2005, Keisel helped the Steelers win the AFC Championship and eventually the Super Bowl, becoming an anchor for a feared Pittsburgh defensive line for the next ten years. Keisel would go on to lead the Steelers to two more AFC Championships and one more Super Bowl victory, and was elected to one Pro Bowl in 2010. In 13 seasons, Keisel recorded 408 total tackles and 30 sacks, and he was always a fan favorite among Pittsburgh faithful due to his play and his iconic beard.
