About Ben Roethlisberger
Ben Roethlisberger has etched his name in the Pittsburgh Steelers’ record books forever. Roethlisberger is one of the great winners in NFL history and has two Super Bowl rings to prove it. “Big Ben” is particularly known for his game-winning drives and fourth-quarter comebacks. In just his second season, he became the youngest quarterback to ever win a Super Bowl. Roethlisberger was named to six Pro Bowls and led the NFL in passing yards twice. He holds Steelers’ franchise bests for career wins, touchdowns, and passing yards. Pittsburgh originally made Roethlisberger the 11th overall pick in 2004 out of Miami Ohio. In three seasons as a college starter, he broke every significant RedHawks passing record and his number is retired by the program. His ride to football fame was a unique one, as Roethlisberger did not start at quarterback till his senior year in high school. Now his influence is widespread and The Ben Roethlisberger Foundation provides aid to police and fire department K-9 units across the country.
