Jon Scheyer Biography

Jon Scheyer is the associate men's basketball coach at Duke and the coach-in-waiting to take over from the legendary Mike Krzyzewski. Scheyer served alongside Coach K as an assistant since 2014 and became associate head coach in 2018. He had a brief playing career as a pro prior to returning to Durham. On the court for the Blue Devils, Scheyer was a standout, setting a record for most consecutive games played. He helped lead Duke to the 2010 NCAA Championship, the same year he was named a consensus second-team All-American and first-team All-ACC pick. The prior season, he earned MVP honors at the ACC Tournament.
