About Joe Jurevicius
Joe Jurevicius played 10 seasons in the NFL as a wide receiver with the New York Giants, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Seattle Seahawks and Cleveland Browns. After a standout prep career at Lake Catholic High School where he earned letters in both basketball and football he joined the Penn State University football team. After catching 94 passes for 1,905 yards and 15 touchdowns with the Nittany Lions he was selected in the second round of the 1998 NFL Draft by the New York Giants. After three seasons and two NFC Championships with the Giants he headed to the Tamp Bay Buccaneers and helped his team to a Super Bowl Championship and an NFC Championship in 2005. He’d go on to play one season with the Seattle Seahawks before joining the Cleveland Browns in 2006. During his last season with the Browns he earned the Ed Block Courage Award for his dedication to leadership and community involvement. After his retirement he founded Dismal River Outfitters, a hunting ranch and resort based out of Mullen, Nebraska.
