About Jesse Cole
Jesse Cole is an American entrepreneur, sports executive, author, and keynote speaker best known for founding Fans First Entertainment and owning the Savannah Bananas. He created Banana Ball: a fast-paced, entertainment-driven version of baseball featuring a two-hour time limit, no walks or bunting, trick plays, dancing players, and fan involvement. Cole is instantly recognizable in ballparks worldwide in his signature bright yellow tuxedo and top hat. He played baseball at Wofford College until a shoulder injury ended his playing dreams. In 2008, at age 23, he became general manager of the struggling Gastonia Grizzlies, later buying the team and applying creative promotions. In 2016, he and his wife Emily launched the Savannah Bananas as a collegiate summer team in Georgia. After early financial struggles, they fully embraced entertainment and a family-friendly approach that left traditional leagues behind, building a touring spectacle that now sells out major stadiums and draws massive social media followings. His “Fans First. Entertain Always” philosophy has turned the Bananas into a cultural phenomenon.
