About Jerod Turner
Jerod Turner played his college golf at Weatherford College and was a standout performer at the collegiate level prior to turning pro in 2000. During his first year as a pro he won the Waterloo Open, which would turn out to be the first of two titles at Waterloo, with his second win coming in 2004. Throughout his career he has been a solid performer on several mini-tours, the Nationwide Tour, Web.com Tour and PGA Tour. His first win on the Nationwide Tour came at the 2009 Soboba Classic. Turner is known for his short game but can also boom it off the tee box, using solid swing mechanics that he has developed over the years with a solid work ethic both on and off the course. He is a true tour professional, dedicating the time necessary to master his craft and become one of the top golfers in the world.
