Jeremy Bloom

Jeremy Bloom was a multi-sport athlete in high school, and led his football and track teams to Colorado State Championships before heading to the University of Colorado as a wide receiver. During that time he was also a big-time skier, sharpening his skills on the slopes in Loveland, Colorado from a young age. Prior to his high school glory he became the youngest male freestyle skier to compete on the US Ski Team, winning a national championship by the time he was 14 years old. At age 19, while playing football at Colorado he won a World Championship in Dual Moguls and also captured a silver medal in the Moguls event at the 2003 Deer Valley World Championships. In 2005 he added to his medal count with a bronze medal in the Dual Moguls at the Ruka World Championships. Bloom’s cut his promising football career at Colorado short after just two years to pursue his dream of competing in the Olympics. He went on sign with the Philadelphia Eagles in 2006 as a fifth round draft pick, and played with the Eagles and Steelers from 2006 to 2007. Since that time he’s put his bachelors degree in real estate and entrepreneurial finance that he earned from the University of Pennsylvania in 2006 to good use. In 2008 he launched the Jeremy Bloom Wish of a Lifetime Foundation with the mission to help low income seniors experience their lifelong wishes.
