About Jennifer King
Jennifer King is a current offensive assistant coach for the Chicago Bears who made history in 2020 by being the first African-American female hired as a full-time coach in the NFL. The Washington Redskins and head coach Ron Rivera named her a coaching intern, where she will work primarily with running backs. King spent the previous two offseasons working as an intern on Rivera's staff with the Carolina Panthers. In addition to her time with the Panthers, she served as an assistant coach in the Alliance of American Football with the Arizona Hotshots. She has a background in football as a player in the Women's Football Alliance. King got her coaching experience in college basketball, leading Johnson & Wales to a Division II National Championship.
