About Jeff Lebby
Jeff Lebby brought an extensive amount of experience on the offensive side of the ball when he became the head coach at Mississippi State. Lebby had spent the previous two seasons as the offensive coordinator at Oklahoma, where the Sooners ranked 13th and 4th in the country in yards per game. Lebby also spent two seasons as the OC for Ole Miss and was in that role at UCF in 2019 after joining the Knights staff as quarterbacks coach for their undefeated 2018 season. Lebby got his first opportunity to run an offense at Southeastern University in 2017, leading the NAIA's top-scoring offense in his one season.
Much of Lebby's initial coaching experience came on the staff at Baylor from 2008-2016. He originally got into the profession as a student assistant at Oklahoma when an injury ended his playing career.
