About Jeff Henderson
Jeff Henderson won the gold medal in the long jump at the 2016 Olympics. To win the gold, he beat his closest competitor on the final jump by just one centimeter. Henderson won gold in long jump at the 2015 Pan American Games as well. At Nationals in 2015, he finished with a silver medal after winning the event in 2014. Henderson also had second place finished at Nationals in 2010 and 2013. He participated as a member of U.S. teams that won the 2010 and 2014 IAAF World Indoor Championship. He competed collegiately at Hinds Community College and Stillman College. At Stillman, Henderson was a Division II All-American.
