About Jaylon Smith
Jaylon Smith is a linebacker for the Green Bay Packers. The Dallas Cowboys originally selected him in the second round of the 2016 NFL Draft and he became a Pro Bowler with them in 2019. Had it not been for a devastating knee injury that Smith suffered in his final college game at Notre Dame, he would have assuredly been a first round pick. He dominated college football as a junior in 2015. Smith recorded 115 tackles in 13 games for the Fighting Irish. He was presented the Butkus Award as the best linebacker in college football. Smith was also voted a consensus All-American. As a junior, he was an Associated Press second-team All-American. Smith was a three-year starter at Notre Dame. He played high school football at Bishop Luers in Fort Wayne, Indiana. In 2012, he was Indiana's Mr. Football.
