Jaylahn "JT" Tuimoloau

Jaylahn "JT" Tuimoloau isan American professional football defensive end for the Indianapolis Colts. Hailing from Washington, Tuimolau was a two-sport star athlete in football and basketball. He led his high school to two 3A state football titles and was named the 2020 Polynesian High School Football Player of the Year. A five-star recruit, Tuimoloau committed to Ohio State University, where he played from 2021 to 2024.

In Columbus, Tuimoloau became a standout defensive end for the Buckeyes. He played all 55 games in his college career and started 42 consecutively. He earned first-team All-Big Ten honors three times (2022–2024) and second-team All-American accolades in 2023.

A notable highlight of his collegiate career was his 2022 game against Penn State, in which he recorded six tackles, two sacks, two interceptions, a forced fumble, a fumble recovery, and a touchdown—the first FBS player to achieve this stat line in the 21st century.

He was selected by the Indianapolis Colts 45th overall in the second round of the 2025 NFL Draft. He bolsters the proud tradition of players with Samoan heritage in the National Football League.
