Jason Elam

Jason Elam played 17 seasons in the NFL with the majority of that time coming with the Denver Broncos. During the first 15 years of his career he was the starting placekicker for the Broncos and helped his team to two Super Bowl titles while also earning three Pro-Bowl selections and three All-Pro nods. At one point in time he held the record for the longest NFL field goal in history at 63 yards. Although he played his final two seasons with the Atlanta Falcons, the Denver Broncos signed him to a one-day contract in 2010 so that he could retire with the team that he started his career with. While still playing in the NFL he published his first book called Monday Night Jihad, which is an action-adventure book about football and an attempted terrorist plot. He went on to write a follow on the book later that year called Blown Coverage and released the final book in the series called Blackout in 2009.
