About Shannon Sharpe
Shannon Sharpe was inducted into the Professional Football Hall of Fame in 2011 after playing 12 stellar NFL seasons with Broncos and briefly with the Ravens. A three time Super Bowl Champion, he finished his career as the NFL's all-time leader in receptions (815), receiving yards (10,060) and receiving touchdowns (62) by a tight end. Though those records have since been surpassed, he owns the distinction of being the first tight end to amass over 10,000 receiving yards. His personal accolades include being selected to eight Pro-Bowl teams, earning five NFL All-Pro honors and being named to both the NFL 1990’s All-Decade Team and Denver Broncos 50th Anniversary Team. Upon retiring from the NFL in 2003 he joined CBS as an expert football analyst providing commentary for NFL games across the league. In 2013 Sharpe was hired as a columnist and spokesperson for FitnessRX for Men.
