James Starks Biography

James Starks was a standout performer for seven seasons with the Green Bay Packers after joining the team as a sixth-round pick in 2010 out of the University of Buffalo. While at Buffalo Starks was one of the best running backs in the nation, rushing for 3,140 yards and 40 touchdowns during his career and earning All-MAC honors all-three years. In 2010 he made an immediate impact for the Packers, setting a franchise record for rushing yards in a postseason game by a rookie in route to helping Green Bay to a Super Bowl championship. Through his first three seasons with the Packers, he rushed for 1,639 yards and six touchdowns. Starks notched a career-high in 2015 when he rushed for 601 yards.
