About Eddie Lacy
Eddie Lacy was a 4 star recruit coming out of high school when he signed on to play running back for Nick Saban and the University of Alabama. Lacy spent his freshman and sophomore years in back up roles to Heisman winner Mark Ingram and Heisman candidate Trent Richardson. Lacy still managed to make the most of his appearances as a backup, rushing for 406 yards and 631 yards respectively. In his junior season, Lacy was finally handed the starting job and took advantage of it, finishing the season with 1,322 rushing yards. Lacy went on to win his 3rd BCS National Championship in 2012 before entering the NFL Draft. Known for his unbelievable spin move, Lacy was selected in the second round by the Green Bay Packers. As a rookie, Lacy set Packers rookie records for rushing yards (1,178 and touchdowns (11) and was named the 2013 Offensive Player of Year.
